My hand is still hurting - help?!

Question: My hand is still hurting - help?
hi, i had detention after school tonight for 2hrs after school and iv got another one tomorrow, coz i was rude to miss sharpe, she told me i have detention after school for 2hrs for two days. Iv done my first detention and i got given loads of lines to write, which really made my hand and fingers ache!!!

Two other girls were in detention (jess and sophie) aswell and like me had to do lines in detention and it was horrible coz all i did was write my lines and look at the clock until 5.30, then i went home. But i guess i shouldnt have misbehaved etc,..I used my blue biro for detention tonight(just used the same pen for some school homework) and iv got red painted nails and long/thinnish hands so dunno if that makes a difference?! I got soooo bored in detention Im a left handed writer and i always smudge my hand when i write, tonight my left hand has a blue stain down the side of my left hand.......

Im in year 10, and im sure coursework would have been better than lines?

Any ideas on a nice pen to use for detention tomorrow nite or how to stop my hand and fingers aching?

Answers:

Hold your hands over your head and shake them vigorously back and forth for about 15 seconds. Then open and close them quickly, still over your head, for 5 to 10 seconds. Then hang them loose again and shake back and forth for another10 seconds. That should help keep the pain away and if they start getting tight stop and do that again, or try opening and closing your fingers for 10 seconds. I feel the over the head is better, but may be hard to do in class so try doing it before getting there and it should hold you through the time you need.

does not matter what pen you use to do your lines you are getting what is known as writers cramp the best way is not to hold your pen quiet so tight it will go off shortly and is nothing to worry about
