Question: I have muscle knots in my thigh, best ways to get rid of them?
Okay, so I normally do a lot of stretching before and after working out, at home that is. So at school, we did a mile run, and I never stretched. So the next day I was sore as hell. I knew they were muscle knots because I felt them, and I have an them before, and professions tell me, what they were, So, it's been 3 days since I got the knots, and they still hurt or they are sore. So, how can I get rid of them?

get a muscle roller http://www.google.com/search?q=muscle%20… , or a rolling pin for dough could work. muscle rollers come in two forms, the stick and the foam roller. because your in school, you probably have a trainer, and see him he should have rollers and give you better instructions then i can. for the stick, you would sit as if you were reaching for your toes and press down over the knot, every day for about 5 mins. it should hurt, but not too much or it will bruise. for the foam roller, put it on the ground and lay down on top of it so your thigh is on it. lift your feet up, and supporting yourself on your hand, rock back/forth over the knot. good luck!
