What is wrong with my knee?!

Question: What is wrong with my knee?
I have been working out recently for 2 hours a day everyday, and started having severe pain in my right knee. It's a little swollen but hurts to put any pressure on it, or to try to turn it in any direction. It's a constant pain.

Answers:

Which part of your knee is it that's hurting, and what kind of exercises have you been doing? If you have not had any trauma to it, or fallen and twisted your knee, there are some possible explanations for this. Pain in the front of the knee behind the knee cap could be due to a condition called Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS), which is caused by muscle imbalance, tightness of the muscles on the outer part of the knee (ITB usually) and weakness of the muscles on the inner part (vastus medialis oblique, VMO). I have pasted some links that teach the exercises for them under "sources".
Pain in the front of the knee directly under the knee cap could be caused by an inflamed tendon, the patellar tendon that connects to your quadriceps. Stretching the quadricep muscle can help reduce the pull on the tendon hence reducing the damage.
Pain on the inside of the knee could be caused by a meniscus strain or tear, which could result in pain when trying to twist the knee. This would benefit from general strengthening of the muscles around the knee.
Pain on the back of the knee could be caused by inflammation of the hamstring tendon, and stretches would be beneficial.

Daily exercise of 2 hours a day will cause a lot of injury as there isn't enough rest time for your body to heal. I would suggest at least a week of rest, ice it heaps 10-15min every few hours, and see the doctor if it doesn't resolve within the next 2 weeks. Taking some over-the-counter anti-inflammatories for a few days may help, but not longer than that. If it does not recover, having an MRI done will be the best way to tell what exactly is wrong with it, although they are very costly.

When the pain has decreased or gone away, gradually increase the amount of exercise you do, and make sure you give yourself sufficient rest at least 2-3 days a week.

Based on your description, no one can possibly, responsibly assess what is wrong with your knee. If it continues to hurt, seek the advice of an orthopedic specialist.

Seriously- this is so vague there could be dozens of things wrong with your knee, and anyone who gives you a definitive answer is not doing you any justice. It's my job to assess athletic injuries and figure out what's going on (see: athletic trainer) and not only is it irresponsible to diagnose without actually poking around at the knee, but really...this is painfully vague.

This is my job.

Mainly of ur knee may not be used to the 2 hourwork out this puts a strain on it or u could have just not noticed u jammed it or hit it some where. If the pain contuies I would go see ur doctor. Any other idea is to take pain killers like tyneloa or ice it with a wash cloth on it. Hope u feel better!
