This is something that takes awhile to do, but you may get it.
Imagine that your brain is full of rooms for different purposes. Imagine that there is an empty room there. When you start feeling pain, step into that room that has nothing in it. Pretend it's protecting you from the pain.
Another trick that works for some. Understand that pain is information that is sent to the brain. Imagine that the data of the pain is a stream of numbers going to your brain. Try to imagine this well. It's important to trick yourself that the pain is in the form of numbers for this. Then, imagine that you put a barrier in between your brain and your body so that when the pain hits that barrier, it can't enter the brain.
Obviously, these are somewhat odd ways to ignore pain, but they usually work. Mind over matter.
