Can I get cancer from having all these radiation expose test done on me?!

Question: Can I get cancer from having all these radiation expose test done on me?
I'm 20 years old.
5'4
225 lbs
In 2010 I had 6 Chest X-rays done because I was having chest pain. They ALL would come back Normal. Thank goodness I've been feeling alot better.
Also in 2010, I had a Abdomen X-ray with 1 view of the Chest because I was having abdominal pain and constipation. AGAIN, NORMAL...
Now in 2011, I had another Chest X-ray done because they needed to check if my lungs were ok because I had the TB skin test positive when I was younger but I took meds for that, and so they wanted to check if I was ok but I had forgot to tell them that I had all those x-rays done last year, So they did it and it came back NORMAL too!
So, yesterday I was at the ER because I had excruciating pain in my lower abdomen and It wasn't going away with pain medicine so I went and they did at CT Abdomen & Pelvis w/o contrast and this was so shocking to me because IT CAME BACK NORMAL!!!!...
So my mom and I been concern now lately of ALL the medical radiation I've been expose to. For one thing, I've so happy all test are normal, thank god, but on the other hand, look at how much radiation I've been expose to. Isn't it too much now? Is there a chance for having all these test done, give me a greater chance of getting cancer?...I'VE SAID IT, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH", NO MORE OF THESE TEST EVER AGAIN!!! BASICALLY, all these were Helpful to help doctors see if I had anything but also UNNECESSARYY..............ANY ADIVCE?, I would truly appreciated.

To make it clear of all the test I've had:

2010
6 Chest X-rays
1 Abdomen/Chest X-ray

2011
1 Chest X-ray
1 CT Scan of the Abdomen and Pelvis w/o contrast

Thank you to anyone who response to my question. Be Blessed

Answers:

Hey, X-rays don't tend to give off much radiation but CT scans do give off more. But really the amount of radiation you get is minor. I wouldn't worry about getting cancer from those tests, at the end of the day they are only trying to help you :).

Also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ct_scan scroll down to the grid, it tells you how much radiation each test gives, then compare it with how much a human takes in daily/yearly. Hope I helped.

It is a good question. But I know that they will do radiation treatments on areas where people have had cancerous tumors removed. So it cannot be all that bad, I guess. Best advice is to to ask your MD.

Yes, your gonna get cancer and die
