i cant sleep :( any advice?!


Question: I cant sleep :( any advice?
okay i havnt slept right for a few years now and idk what to do i started taking equate (walmart) sleeping pills and eventually they just didnt work as well so we got unisom sleeping pills they worked good for a week then stoped im taking 2 a night and bottle says only take 1 i need something stronger. im 16 male idk if that matters
id love to see a doctor but idk when ill get that chance my mom rarley gets days off and my dad dont live with us

k well i see your close to my age, so maybe i can help.
i used to never be able to go to sleep when i wanted. it always took me like, 2 hours or so to fall asleep. my mom recommended something called melatonin. it's a natural herb that makes you relax and regulates your sleeping cycle. it's cheap and you can get it pretty much anywhere. i'll post a link in my sources bar and you can take a look. otherwise, you can try exercising or playing sports during the day, that always seems to make a person tired and ready for bed. hot milk before sleep? :)

Exercising vigorously an hour or two before bed can help wonders. Physical movements exhausts one person.

Warm milk calms a person down too and milk has something in it that actually encourages sleep. Drink it sugarless if you can though.

But I'm not the BEST judge of character, I mean, I do have insomnia.

My friend told me to try this out because it worked for her:)



Exercise before going to sleep, being tired will help some nights. I have the same problem, but I take the Tylenol PM and they haven't stop working completely.
