There is toilet paper stuck In my ear?!

My ear got an infection last Tuesday and it's been like two days since I got like a blister thing right when you get to the actual ear openning. My ear has been hurting and itchting since I couldn't use a cuetip I used a piece of toilet paper that I rolled into a thin twist so it could get into my ear ear and scratch it without hurting, but when I pulled it out I noticed that the toilet paper tip looked shorter than when I first put it in. I tried to use my finger and wash it out with warm water but nothing came out. Now my ear hurts and I don't know what to do? But I don't know if it is important that I have to go to the doctor. Someone help I'm scared of going deaf or doing something wrong.
