Question: ECG and a heart murmur...help?
Today I went for a routine check up and he listened to my heart and says I may have a heart murmur.
When I was a child I had one and it went away. There was nothing serious about it. During these last 10 years I have had a halter and some echocardiographies. Nothing showed up.
He made me take a ECG I am waiting for the results. Will this show anything bad if I have it.

Yes a ecg or ekg will show how your heart is beating.I think a heart murmur is something you will have for life.Maybe if you told the doc before they listened to your heart you had a murmur that wouldnt say anything about it because you already knew you had it.
