should i let my belly ring close, then get it re-pierced?!

Question: Should i let my belly ring close, then get it re-pierced?
my friends are saying its rejecting, and the skin is covering the barbel on theirs, but only about 1/3 of it is covered on mine, but i'm not sure if the old hole will look awkward when it gets re-pierced. please help me! i'm 13 and i don't know what to do.
and if i get it re-pierced it would be in august.

Why do you want your belly ring to be closed?

If you don't like it where the piercing is done, than I suggest you that if you want it to be closed make sure you clean it with alcoholic patch everyday and don't wear the belly ring, and if you want to re-pierced your belly, make sure you don't pierce the same hole again because that part of the skin is really thin now and if you do re-pierce the same hole, that won't be good because it will make it look ugly and hurtful. Don't listen to your friends, they don't know anything about it.

You could do this, go and talk to professional piercing they will tell you a lot. you could go to any mall, and you will see one or two and talk to them. I pierce bellies but I am not that professional, I haven't don't it to anyone beside myself.

Take my suggestion, leave it alone, if it looks ugly than make sure you pierce it a little upper from the old hole, and if it doesn't look ugly than leave it as the way it is.

If you have anymore questions and you may go ahead and add me as your contact and I will help you out.

Good Luck!!!

call or go see your piercer. they willl tell you whats wrong with it. or if its rejecting, ask them. its the best possible idea. everyones bodies are different.

i have mine done(:
