Does THC make you forgetful?!
Question: Does THC make you forgetful?
Personally whenever I go on a binge for a few days I am usually clumsy and forgetful even after I have sobered up, in extreme cases for a couple of days afterwards causing me to believe that it could in fact maybe have subtle impacts on my cognitive abilities for a longer timespan.
The reason I'm asking this is because I've stopped smoking for the last few months completely because I've got state examinations (leaving cert) coming up in june and thought it might help elevate my grades that tiny bit more, but at the same time I really feel like a big joint right now causing a dilemma.

Yes it does.
I smoked for 15 years and it was only once I stopped that I realised quite what an impact it had. I smoked from aged about 18 through to about 33 or so.
Seriously consider stopping - or at least having a break. The summertime is a great time to do it. THC stays in the blood for several weeks so stop now in time for your June exams.
Good luck
Thc has been linked to short term memory loss during the intoxication only. The problem though is if used consistently you fail to accumulate new knowledge as fast as someone who isn't stoned all the time. I hope that makes sense. Just use in moderation and after you study and do your homework.
Drugs are bad don't do them? Guess I should say that too. Whatever. Best answer FTW.
