I know there are more extras on blue-ray, but worth the money to buy

Yeah if you're going to get an extended version of any movie, it should be Avatar. Avatar, in my opinion, is the most visually engaging movie in film history. I bought the bluray for it a few months ago, and it's incredibly clear. Also, they add all sorts of cool stuff and bonus features. You won't regret it if you liked the movie.
if i had the money i would definitely invest in a blue ray player and buy blue rays, they make everything look so intense and clear
