Please help, I've 'been' short-sighted for about 3 years and it's getting worse...?
At first it was little and I could still still see words on my PC screen but when I go for check ups my eyesight has gradually gotten worse and I can't see the PC screen without glasses. Is there anyway I could slow it down or stop it getting worse? I always wear glasses now even to read, but I feel that they could also be making my eyesight worse, (is this true?) so I wear them more, like a vicious circle. And I'm also considering contact lenses? Advisable? Please help!!!

no..you cant slow things like that down. just get your eyes checked regularly & wear your glasses...they are there to help you & wont make your eyes worse. not wearing them for PC work will only make you strain them more.
as for contacts, i wouldnt even consider putting things like that into my eyes...personal opinion of course - but, your eyes are SO precious..you have to take care of them...and dont worry so much..millions of us wear glasses for one reason or another.
