About how much do acuvue contacts cost?
I want contacts, but are the ones you get at the doctors more expesive than if you were to order off of 1800 contacts?
cause the ones off of 1800 contacts cost 20 dollars per box, so are the ones at the doctors about the same?

After you have your eyes examined- you can ask them what the price is for the lenses-- if it's higher, just ask for your prescription and then you can order them from 1-800 contacts---but ask them first--if this is the first time you're wearing contacts, it is better to get them from the doctor even if they are just a few dollars more- and that's all they will be BECAUSE-- he will want to see you with them on your eyes to make sure they fit properly--sometimes and in my case, they "hung up" on my eye and never refocused and I had to change the type and the company I got them from---it took 3 different lenses before I ordered mine--and by the way-- he gives you FREE samples to try while you are trying out the different types of lenses. Do yourself a favor, don't go for the new oaysis moisture lock lenses--they dry out faster and they feel like gummy bears in your eyes, at least that's what happened to me and my daughters.
