Answers:

It will be more convenient for you to have contacts. I wore glasses or contacts when I was playing volleyball. It was easier when i was wearing the contacts. I would usually get hit in the face here and there, so my glasses did fall quite often, but with the contacts it was better as it stays in your eyes. You will get used to them as time goes on. Hard contacts are very uncomfortable, but soft contacts are better and more common. I like the O2 Optix made by CIBA. Acuvue Hydroclear is also good according to my sister My optometrist suggest these two brands highly to his customers. These two types keeps oxygen in your eyes longer. Since I switched to CIBA, I seldom use eyedrops. IF you do try other brands, it is best to get the soft contacts, rather than the hard. From what I understand, hard contacts are harder to use than soft.

At first I did feel the same way as you did, but as time moved on, playing sports did get in the way. I had to adjust to putting something in my eyes, and after a while i prefer the contacts. Right now, I rarely use my glasses. They will teach you how to put it on and all sorts of that stuff. The main thing is IF you do get them is to store them in the lens case for at least 6 hours before using them . If it gets dirty, then you can use a product called ClearCare to help clean off all the protein(only suggested to use it for 1 to 2 times a week). Just follow the instructions to that product, but I do advise you to rinse them afterwards with your sterile solution like Saline so you wont sting your eyes from the Clear Care.

Good Luck..I hope this info will help!
