Question about contacts?!

Question:

Question about contacts?

I have have to wear special gas permeable contacts because I have an unusual problem with my eyes called(I never spell this correct) caridakonis.I know that's not correct but it sounds like that.
My question is,I live in Thailand now and it was hard enough to find these lenses in America does anyone know if they are available in Thailand?

Answers:

Your condition is known as Keratoconus. If the condition is mild, spectacle correction with cylindrical cut lenses (for astigmatism) is sufficient, Rigid Gas Permeable(RGP) lenses allows you to see more clearly if it progresses to moderate to severe. When it get serious, treatment options include keratotomy(precise surgical incisions to attempt to flatten the 'cone' or even keratoplasty(corneal transplant). I'm not sure of the drug/treatment options and availability in Thailand. You can try Singapore National Eye Centre, which is nearer than the states.
