My mate has a little black dot on her eye which never goes away - it looks like a pen dot?
Doesn't affect her vision and doesn't hurt but we were wondering what it is. She has had laser eye correction surgery but some time ago

To get a true diagnosis, she would need to see an eye doctor, but it kinda sounds like a nevus...or a mole on her eye. It's usually a benign process...some of us are born with. This wouldn't be a result of the laser surgery she had.
Next time she goes in for an eye exam, be sure to point out to the optometrist (though if you can see it, they can also) and ask specifically for them to look closely at it.
Iris nevi do not affect vision typically, but do need to be monitored, just like moles on your skin, for any changes.
