Is my weaker eye really smaller in size than my stronger one?!

Question:

Is my weaker eye really smaller in size than my stronger one?

My teacher said she could guess someone's weaker and stronger eyes by looking at their sizes. Is there really such theory? if it's really so, which part of my eye is smaller?

Answers:

Lol.... There is no way anyone can tell how "strong" or how "weak" an eye is under normal circumstances. The only way someone could guess a person would have a weaker eye is if they had some obvious condition such as amblyopia (lazy eye) or strabismus. There is no way someone can tell how "weak" an eye is by looking at the size.
It is true that refractive error has something to do with the size/shape of the parts of the eye or the eye itself! It only takes a very small deviation from normal to cause refractive error, this is impossible to be seen with the naked eye. The differences in size/shape to cause someone not to see well are not visible to the naked eye. To determine someones refractive error they need to be examined by an eye doctor. No one can tell just by looking at you!!!
