I'm new to wearing contact lenses. How do I put them on? I'm fine with taking them off.?

At the optometrist office I was able to put them on and take them off on the first try. Now at home it takes forever to put them on and I end up irritating my eye. Any suggestions?

Also how often do I change the case and where do I get another when needed?

I would like to add to the other great answers you've already received. You can put them on wrong (INSIDE OUT), you can tell if if just doesn't feel right or if it wants to pop out of your eye. After you've followed the other sugs. of rinsing it put it on the tip of your finger (it will make a cup), then take the index finger and thumb of ur other hand and gently pinch together the top and bottom (lip of cup). If you look closely youll see the very tips/edges of the contact will either come together or turn away from each other. Once you get the tips to come together - put it in your eye. It should be cupping your eye.
