Lines on paper move around, and I can't follow them with my eyes.?!

Question:

Lines on paper move around, and I can't follow them with my eyes.?

I have real trouble following lines with my eyes, be it text or just normal lines (like on graph paper, or just normal ruled paper) they all merge into one another, or kind of dance on the paper. I have to place a ruler on the lines to be sure, but even then I still sometimes get the wrong line, I'm not dyslexic. Is this a problem with my eyes that I should see an optician about, or is it something that I'll just have to live with?

I can read and everything, it's just lines that are the problem, and yes I've had this problem as long as I can remember.

Answers:

Not dyslexia.

It could be a problem with the macula, or with the muscles. Either way, I think you should speak to your doctor, witha view to seeing an Eye Specialist.
