Is lazer eye surgery worth the $5,000??
I have contacts and they kill my eyes! I have horrible vision and was told to try looking into this surgery.

There are a number of different types of surgery to correct different types of refractive errors.
A recent study demonstrated that placing intracorneal lenses or implants worked 'better' than LASEK or LASIK. This is a surgery where a very small lens is placed in the middle of the cornea, reshaping the cornea without destroying any of the tissue.
Before you decide to do this type of surgery, be sure to see a Cornea Specialist. Go to the university, see the professor there. See if there's a Cornea Specialist in the city in or near where you live.
You really don't want to mess this up.
