I have had the stye for a week now, and there's no end in sight!?!

I have had the stye for a week now, and there's no end in sight!?

I've had this stye inside my eyelid for about a week now, and a white dot, or the place where the gooey stuff is supposed to come out still hasn't formed yet. The first 3-4 days it was really really bad and the whole side of my face was puffed up, but now it's my 6th day, the swelling has gone down and so has the redness, but the bump is still there with no end in sight.

I need to pop soon because I am going on vacation and it would just be such a downer to have this stye to carry around. The white/yellow dot where the stuff is supposed to come out hasn't formed, so what do I do? Do I wait it out? I've done the warm water compressions endlessly...what happens now!?

I know sty's are painful, not to mention not great to look at, but please go see a dr. and let them deal with it. Your vision is too precious to take a chance with trying to fix it on your own.
