Opinion on new glasses...?

I was thinking of getting something like the transitions lenses, especially since I have sensitive eyes, and daylight tends to blind me. I've heard mixed opinions on them however. Anybody who has them, do you like them? Why or why not?

I am an Optiian and I can not stand them for myself. However, I sell them to many people every week. Some people like them becuase they lighten and darken well. Some do not think that they get dark enough or lighten up fast enough. I think it is a personal preference. Personally, they do not get dark enough for me, and they do not lighten up fast enough. I prefer a polarized lens in my sun glasses that cuts the glare way more than any photosensative lense can. Plus, I need sun protection while driving, and the Transitions lenses do not turn in the car. They have a polarized sun lense that does change in the car , but it is too dark for night driving and not dark enough still for the sun, so regular polarized singlasses are still the best sun protection you can get with your prescription. You have to take the info and filter out what sould or would not work for you! Some people get Transitions for their "clear" pair so that they have the changing tint going in and out of places and then polarized for their "sun" Pair for driving and long term sun exposure and do just fantastic.
