Why do i look so different when i put on my glasses?!

Why do i look so different when i put on my glasses?
i mean like im nearsighted (means i can c things that r close but not far away) i look up close in the mirror i look ok but when i put a my glasses dont matter how clean my glasses r i look soooooo different. so wat can i trust my glasses or my eyes.
