My eyes wont stop itching and they always feel like there is something in them?!

My eyes wont stop itching and they always feel like there is something in them?

i dont think that my mascara is old and i dont share it with amybody so its not that

but its getting really annoying

for the last 2 or 3 weeks im always rubbing my eyes and stuff bc it feels like there are eyelashes in them even though there arent

any ideas on what it might be?


oh and my eyes dont look puffy and red or anything

Allergies, dry eye syndrome, environmental allergens, allergic conjunctivitis are all possibilities.

I would suggest trying 1) a new mascara if that is what you think might be the cause, 2) use lubricating artificial tears as often as you need to. If those ideas do not work within a couple of days, go check with your eye doctor to see if it is ocular allergies. There are prescription eye allergy drops out there that will help with both allergic conjunctivitis and environmental allergens you may be exposed to. Check around your house for anything you know you are allergic to and try to avoid that (dust, molds, cats, dogs, new plants). A lot of the time just eliminating exposure to an environmental allergen will help if that is the cause of your eye irritation.
