What contact lenses add a light tint to natural dark brown eyes?!

Question:

What contact lenses add a light tint to natural dark brown eyes?

Answers:

Unfortunately, there really aren't any lenses that will "tint" dark brown eyes, as brown is too dark to really have anything show up - unless they are opaque lenses. Opaque lenses work by completely covering up your natural color with another color...the lenses look like they have an iris painted on them. They will not tint - they will completely cover up what you already have. Tinted lenses are available to folks that already have lighter eyes. They look A LOT more natural than the opaques do because they enhance what the wearer already has. Opaque lenses have a cut-out for the pupil, which remains the same in all lighting conditions...so to me, they look incredibly fake - especially the purple ones (Violet really isn't a naturally occuring eye color) I can always tell colored contacts on a person with dark eyes from a mile away because they look like a dead fish...
