I am light/fair skin toned. Which foundation color is right for me?

I am currently using Clinique's superbalanced make up foundation (color sand). It makes me look sorta tanned but I don't really think it matches my skin tone. It might be a bit too dark for me. So I would like to try a slightly lighter color but not too light. Which one should i use

Foundation that doesn't match your skin tone is the worst! I think its hilarious when people get that line around their jaw line. They must not know the trick...

When you go to buy the foundation, open it up and dab a little on the back of your hand. Blend it into your skin. If the color disappears into your skin then it will blend well into your face.

Try a few different shades on the back of your hand. Remember which one you put where.Compare them all and see which one looks like it disappeared.
