What is the eye exam and fitting for contacts like?!

Question:

What is the eye exam and fitting for contacts like?

and how do you put them in?

Answers:

You won't have any problems. My dad is an eye doctor and I have been wearing contacts for years. The eye exam would be the same as when you got glasses. As for contacts I would suggest asking for soft lenses since they will be more comfortable. I would suggest acuve advanced. You won't even feel them once they are in. To put them in, if your right handed, you'll want to put the lens on your right pointer finger. With the other hand pull up the upper eyelid and use the ring finger on your right hand to pull down the lower lid. Gently place the lens on your eye. It will feel weird for a minute while it settles and you'll want to blink a few times but after that you won't even notice it. Just make sure to take them out every night. Lots of people don't and it causes major infections and cuts on the eye and those are extremely painful. If you think your eyes are going to be sensitive then ask for the solution called Complete. It is the best because it won't burn your eyes like some other solutions.
