What are ways to get rid of a stye?
I have a stye and I went to the eye doctor, but the doctor doesn't understand that baby shampoo doesn't clean my eyes out. I am going to another doctor for a second opinion in about a week, but are there ways that I can get rid of my stye, or at least stop the irration during this time period? Thanks so much.

Ok for starters, he or she told you to use baby shampoo for a reason. It's called blepharitis. (dandruff on the eye lashes) Start with a warm compress for a few minutes then take a small cup filled with warm water. Put a dab of baby shampoo in it and let it get sudsy. With your eyes closed take a qtip and brush them then rinse. It's "lid hygeine". This will help in preventing future styes. For the current one it will really help to do warm/hot compresses. No need for a second opinion. Save your money and trust the first doctor.
