My contacts?

so i wear contacts, just for the color. but lately when i wear them for more then 4-5 hrs my eyes get really irritated and burn. i add drops and it helps for about 10 minutes then back to the same thing. what can i do to make it stop.

if she wears contacts "just for the color" then she cant have night & days. night & days not only dont come in colors, they also dont come in a powerless version. plus night & day is one of the "driest" lenses on the market (low water content), so i would not say they are "designed" to eliminate dryness.

unlikely to develop an "allergy" to any contact lens.

the most likely scenario IMO is she's feeling the effects of HYPOXIA or low oxygen, wither from a fit that is too tight (which is common among people who wear AV2 colors "just for the color"...they were either never professionally fit or they were improperly fitted), or she's getting hypoxia just from the low rate of oxygen flow thru that colored lens.

probably need an eye doc to help you fix this...
