How can i convince my mom to let me get eye contacts?!

How can i convince my mom to let me get eye contacts?

she thinks im going to get an eye infection. but she doesnt get how much i hate my glasses. i barely wear them unless we see a Broadway musical or show in a theatre. bor if i cant see the board in school. i really want color contacts, and i dont like my glasses at all. how can i convince her? by the way, im thirteen. ive had glasses for about 2 years.

also she thinks im gonna scratch my eye or something (yep she doesnt find me responsible) and she didnt want the money for my glasses to go to wwaste since they were coach glasses and every time i ask her if i can PLEASE PLEASE get contacts she says "danielle, we went over this! stop asking me becasue your not getting them" but the last time i asked her if i could get them was like 6 months ago lol so maybe she'll say yes? also i hate my eyes (theyre brown) and i really want blue, green, or violet eyes. my hair color is auburn, in the shade its kinda brownishreddish and in the sun its very red.

I feel your pain as a fellow eye glass wearer. I want contacts too but they're really expensive. A selling point for your mom is that they're cheaper than a pair of glasses and if you lose them, you can just open a new pair. Plus, you keep your contacts in solution which disinfects the contact when it is emersed. And all you have to do is empty out the solution before you take them out and put some new solution in place to re-disinfect them when you take them out. Plus there are more options too, like there's contacts that are one time use only and you have to open up a new pair every time you want to use them. That's a safe, but costly option. Also talk to your eye doctor because they can probably tell you more and suggest options for you.
