Question:
Need help with contact lenses, desperate.?
Firstly, I have giant papillary conjunctivitis & so I have to switch to monthly disposables, what brand should I switch to?
Another problem is that I need toric lenses.
My number-
Left eye: -9.50
Right eye: -10.50
Cylindrical in both eyes - 3.75.
The biggest problem however is that I live in bombay (India). I need brands that are available here.
Which brands would you suggest?

Well, looks like you have quite a prescription there. Monster astigmatism and nearsightedness. And GPC to go with it? Time to switch to Rigid Gas Permeable lenses. With that much astigmatism, you're going to have a hard time getting any soft lenses to sit still, depending on the shape of your eye. Rigid lenses, fit properly, will give you better vision than glasses or soft lenses.
As far as the GPC goes, get your optometrist to give you a mild steriod (such as Lotemax) for 10-14 days, and at the same time, use a drop called Patanol (or Pataday). That should lick your allergies and keep them away.
Soft lenses will only aggravate the problem and give you mediocre vision at best. I would highly recommend a hard lens.
