Is there a way to remove sratches off the lenses of glasses?

me and my roommate are having this discussion he believe there is a way . some kind of spray. i do not is there a way or is it impossible.to me once they are scratched they are scratched.

Depending on If the lenses are made of plastic or glass can deter min if there fixable or not. With glass lenses chips and scratches are difficult to remove effectively without changing the lens is self (i.e how well you can see out of them, if there still the same strength or not) Plastics how ever they still can be repaired depending on how damaged they are you can check and local optometrists re guarding if there repairable or not or just use your best guess. The solution comes in a gel or spray. It can be found at any retail store. Just follow the instructions in the package and you should be good though a few might still remain, but you'll still be able to sue them well enough. That's if there still salvageable, you'll able to tell when your done if there not. There will still be some deep stretches remaining. This isn't to be confused to what i mentioned above, the deep stretches you can catch with you finder nail and be able to hold it in place.
