There are so many different kinds of contact lenses to choose from:
Daily-wear soft lenses
Daily-wear disposable soft lenses
Extended-wear soft lenses
Extended-wear disposable soft lenses
Frequent & planned replacement soft lenses
Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP)

The initial cost of contact lenses is made up of the cost of actual lenses plus the services of an eyecare professional, which may be covered by your insurance plan. With competitive pricing for the lenses themselves, it is important to take into account these savings when considering the cost of professional services, in order to get the best, the safest and the most suitable lens for your needs.
When you get a prescription for contact lenses, you get a comprehensive set of services and materials that go along with the lenses themselves including:
the initial office visit and thorough examination, which will cover fitting procedures and usage guidelines;
a lens care kit, which can include solutions and storage cases;
lens wear and care training; follow-up visits over a specified period of time.
Since all lenses and patient needs are not the same, the cost will vary depending on your individual needs and your insurance plan. There is no one answer to "How much will contact lenses cost?"

Typically, depending on the brand and type of contacts you decide on, the prices will range anywhere from $30 - $200

You and your doctor should discuss whats right for you and the budget you want to stay in.
