How do I wash my eyes?
I put in a soft contact lens and felt bit of discomfort. I thought I adjusted it and moved on to do things. 3 hurs later, my eye was red, I took out the lens, and started see some discharge on my eye. I washed it with runny water twice this evening, but I can still feel some kind of built up protein? and my one eye vision is bit foggy. Any suggestion ?

it you seem to see build up protein, (yellowish discharge) please go to an eye dr to get some broad spectrum antibiotics eyedrops. and please stop rinsing your eyes with tap water it is not sterile. if you have an open wound you can open yourself to acanthamoeba infection. really nasty. rinse it with use and drop unidose saline. stop you contact lens wear and if it is disposable throw it away. if it is MTO contacts please sterilise it the right way
