Can your vision go back to 20-20 again after wearing glasses for some time?
can nearsightedness and astigmatism get well after wearing glasses for some time? or is it for a lifet time?
Answers:
I've seen several children who need glasses, sometimes even bifocals, and then outgrew them for a few years, but there eyes started going in the other direction once they got a little older and they needed glasses again. Your vision ca fluctuate. It doesn't ALWAYS change for the worse. Some years it can actually improve by a little bit, but I've never seen it go back to 20/20 in an adult without them having some type of surgery. I've seen some older patients who only needed reading glasses after having cataracts removed. But I've never known someone to go back to 20/20 all by themselves.
