Just got contacts today.. trouble getting them out..?

I jsut got contacts today. They taught me how to get them out, and try ti a few times, but now I can't do it! Any tips to get them out? They're soft lenses.

Doc taught me Samantha's method.

I finally got them out.. I was trying to get it out of my right eye because if I take it out of the elft eye first, my vision is so messed up, but I finally tried my left eye- got it first time.

Went back to my right eye, only had to try it like 3 times to get it out. I guess maybe my right eye learned from my left eye.. kinbda liek dogs learn from each other? Oh well. Point is, I FINALLY got em out! Thanks for teh advice though!

I remember the first time I took out my contacts by myself, it took me FOREVER. Now I do it without even thinking...
For me, it helps if my fingers are totally dry - if they are damp, my fingers just glide over the lens and I can't get it off my eye.
I'm right handed and I have to physically hold my eye open to get my contacts out. I use my left hand to hold my top lid up and the middle finger of my right hand to hold the bottom lid down. Then I use my right thumb and index finger to kind of pinch the lens off my eye.
