Can glasses or contacts help treat a lazy eye?!

Question:

Can glasses or contacts help treat a lazy eye?

I have a lazy eye, not wandering eye, just blurry vision in one and i cannot drive untill i can see some sort of better vision out of it. i have thought of vision therapy..but i want to know does it help?

are there any glasses a eye doctor can give you to treat a lazy eye? or contacts?

Answers:

The doctor can fit you with prescription lens that will help and he may even suggest a patch on your good eye to make the weak or lazy eye correct itself.
