Question:
How are those vision pills . I read they are suppose to correct your vision.?
Answers:
I do not know of any pills that will correct your vision, but I do know that there are some vitamin supplements that have been specially formulated to help with certain eye conditions.
OcuVite and PreserVision are two of the main ones. The retinal specialists I work for recommend this particular one for patients with age-related macular degeneration, a retina condition. They recommend this because there has been a study done (Age-Related Macular Degeneration Study) that shows that a certain formulation of vitamins has been proven to slow down the progression of age-related macular degeneration (a retinal condition that generally occurs in older people). This study also shows that vision was not correctable...it just didn't get worse as fast compared with those not taking this vitamin formula.
If any medication that is available over the counter, in any drug store, advertises that it can CORRECT something like vision, then I truly would not trust that.
