Does anybody wear contacts?
Do they hurt? How long does it take to get used to them? With tinted ones, do u knkow if they are daily, monthy or continuous??
Answers:
It's more of a discomfort feeling rather than pain when you first put them in as you think they are going to hurt. You imagine it's going to be a lot worse than it is as you can't get your brain around the fact that you are sticking a piece of plastic in your eye, but the contact never makes direct contact with your eye at all, it sits, or rather floats over your iris on a bed of fluid.
I use hard lenses as they are better if you work in a dusty atmosphere, but if you do get a speck of dust underneath them, it feels like knives in your eyes.
I can't use soft lenses as I have too much calcium in my body and the calcium deposits build up on the contacts making them appear cloudy and I can't see.
With the tinted ones I think they are dailies but not intended for everyday use.
