Question:

My daughter just had a partial nephrectomy; After waking up she can't see well out of her right eye...?

Does anyone know what could cause this? Is it temporary? The nurses here don't know why she can't see...

Yes, she is swollen and she is complaining of right shoulder pain far more than the surgery site.

Answers:

It's probably an effect of the anesthesia. Talk to the Anesthesiologist who should be the most qualified to answer your questions. (you know, the doc who put her to sleep)
