Once I take my glasses off, this happens...?!

Question:

Once I take my glasses off, this happens...?

Once I take my eye glasses off ( i'm near-sighted) , I start to shake and I cant stand correctly, I will also tend to move a lot and bump into many objects, my head starts to hurt and I feel like sleeping, why is this so?

Answers:

your eyes have adjusted to your glasses, so without them they are weaker.

Try doing eye excercises for 10 minutes or so each night before you go to bed, which is what I do. Roll your eyes up and down, right to left, diagonally, around in circles, and go crosseyed whilst rolling your eyes from right to left (this one is a bit harder, but really helps). Also, try focussing on something close to you, then on something far away, so your eyes adjust more quickly. It is due to this inability to adjust the eyes to something far away that results in needing glasses.

My friend did these excercises for 7 months and she went from having really bad short-sightedness (as in really bad!!) to not even needing glasses anymore. She did these excercises for at least 15 minutes each day. If you can't seem to be motivated to do these excercises each night, just try doing them while your listening to music on the bus, and wear dark glasses so people can't see your eyes moving around. Also, when you're at the computer, take a break every 30 minutes or so and do these excercises for a few minutes while listening to the radio or music.

Good luck!
