If i wear contacts, will it hurt my eyes?
im supposed to be wearing glasses, i got them when i was 8, but i never wore them and i really want contacts. my mom wouldnt let me get contacts when i was 8 but now shes thinking about geting me them but today my friend told me that its realy bad for your eyes if you wear contacts without wearing glasses firt? is what she said true??

no not at all!Trust me!i have been asking the same question if it hurts.So i went to the eye doctor and in the waiting room, i kept poking my eye to get used to it.But when the man put them in my eye i felt nothing cuz it was so watery(well not watery like it had a lot of solution).Solution is what makes the conatact wet.If the contact is in water it will make your eyes painful and it will be useless.So if you have a lot of solution it will not hurt.Be sure not to put 2 much!!Just ask your eye doctor to put a lot on but not too much.When the conatact gets dry in your eye after about,2 weeks,it will be annoying and you'll have to change them and put a new pair in.I started wearing contacts a month ago and it is still a little tricky to put them in and out of your eye.So good luck and it will not hurt!!!!Trust me!Oh yeah and i am only 12 so if your older you could definatley go threw this!!!!!
