Will my eyesight worsen with or without glasses?
When I first got glasses (I'm slighty nearsighted), I found that when I took them off, my eyes seemed worse for a little while. But then someone told me that if I don't wear them, my eyes will get worse permanently. I'm confused!!!

no, neither of those are true.
if you are nearsighted and you have the correct Rx, then with the glasses ON you will see better far away, and with them off you will see worse far away. thats it. there are no long term benefits or risks with wearing them more or wearing them less, no matter what people tell you. when you have them on you see better. thats it.
whether or not you get more nearsighted is not related to how much or how little you wear your glasses. you are either going to get more nearsighted or you are not, regardless of how much you wear them.
