Why are my contacts fogging? They are a brand new pair!!!?!
Question:
Why are my contacts fogging? They are a brand new pair!!!?
I've looked on yahoo answers and found a similar question and people mostly advised the person to put in a new pair, but that doesn't explain my problem. This morning I put in my old pair and they were foggy. So, I changed them and they fogged up too. Are my eyes producing more protein gunk today? What do I do?
Answers:
if changing the lenses and wearing a new pair does not "clear up" your vision, then the problem is likely your eyes, not the contacts.
could be a deposition problem like you say..."producing gunk".
also could be corneal edema or swelling of your cornea.
could also be a "bad batch" or a defective/incorrect box of lenses.
you might need a visit to your optometrist to sort this out...
