Okay i made the mistake of leavin my contacts oin 2 1/2 weeks cus im lazy[lol] and now my eye has "goo" in it
do i have an eye infection or whats wrong or could it be allergys?
Answers:
This is most likely an infection. Take your lenses out, put them in a case and then call the doctor who prescribed your lenses. DO NOT wear your contacts again. Take them with you to your visit, because if this infection does not respond well to treatment, it is easier for your doctor to culture your contact lens than to scrape your eye to culture it. Do not try Visine or any other home remedy.
I hope that you recover quickly. You will not be able to wear lenses again until after this infection is resolved. At that point, if you would like to try extended wear, make sure that your eye doctor knows that and prescribes lenses that are designed and approved to be worn for an extended period of time,
