hi i was wondering if anyone could help me i am 19 years old i have had both of my lenses taken out of my eyes so now i cant see everything is blurry the opticians have said there is nothing they can do for me i did war contact lenses but then i was told they were making me go blind which i didnt understand im waiting to see another specialist on friday about my 3rd eye operation when you look into my right eye i still have my stitches from my 1st op when i was 6 there is something brown poking through them and also through the blue bit of my eye i havent been told what it is just thats its serious could any body please explain to me what it is and how serious

It's really impossible to say with is going on without actually examining you.

Sounds like you underwent surgery for congenital cataracts, and that the contact lenses are causing your corneas to fail. The 'brown part poking through stiches' may mean the surgical incision has relaxed (esepcially if it's on the top part of the eye - that's where the main incision is usually made). Not sure what you're describing about the 'blue bit'.

Anyway, it's best to review this with the ophthamologist. If the contact lenses are causing problems, you may be a candidate for 'sutured lens implant', and possibly a 'corneal transplant'.
