How long does it take for pink eye to go away if you have eye drops?!


Question:

How long does it take for pink eye to go away if you have eye drops?

i went to the doctor today, he told me i had pink eye, perscribed medicine. I need to take it 3 times a day, 1 drop in each eye
any idea when it will go away? Today's saturday, and i have an exam monday.. not sure they'll let me go if i have it since it's pretty contagious


Answers:

You are not contagious after 24 hours on an antibiotic ointment or drops. By Monday, you will feel much better and the redness will hardly be noticed. You will probably still have the sticky drainage in the mornings, but a warm, wet washcloth will remove that.
