The bad news...
You are probably going to get a bit more short-sighted until you stop growing, somewhere between 18-22 years of age.

There are a few things that can help.
Keep your reading distance long: don't let your head get close to a book, screen or what you're writing.
Break away from reading and computer screens every 1/2 hour to refocus in the distance.

*Some* seeming short sight is down to the eyes jamming into reading mode. Relaxation exercises can help with this *if* it is present. Simple ones using physiological diplopia are fine(1).
Beware the "snake -oil salesmen" who maintain they can cure everything with exotic exercises.

(1)e.g. Hold a pencil at arm's length. Look at a clear vertical object in the distance (church tower?), and line up the pencil with it. You should either see two pencils or two towers.
Concentrate on one til it's single. The other will go double if you are using two eyes. Jump to the double object and get that clear. Repeat a few times, ending up on the distant object. See if that's helped. If it has, there was a some degree of ciliary spasm, "cramp", present.
