Do you have to be prescribed to wear contact lenses?

I wear glasses for a while i want to get rid of them anyways is it possible go to the store and pick up Acueve Contacts and buy them without and prescripiton??

No you can't. You have to have an eye exam for contacts, they show you how to put them in and you need a prescription to get them. How could you buy them if you don't know your prescription. I am getting them soon, you must see an eye dr. to get them.
