Can your eye color change besides having to use contacts?!

Question:

Can your eye color change besides having to use contacts?

for example if there is a medical procedure like plastic surgery to change your eye color

Answers:

Recently I have come across a website that speaks of a cosmetic procedure that involves an iris implant to change the color of your eyes. I really do not know much about this procedure. In saying that...surgery always comes with its risks and I believe the risks are too high just for the sake of vanity. You can look at this website yourself if you would like

Personally I think an individuals natural eye color suites them the best... and to go through surgery just to change your eye color is not worth it at all!!! What happens if you are not satisfied with the color? Get another surgery to get them removed? Or if the surgery leaves you with very unsightly or harmful complications? I personally think it is not worth the risks!
It is also known that hormones, medications and some illnesses can change the eye color of a person by changing the distribution and/or density of melanin or lipofuscin on the iris. These factors cannot be controlled to intentionally change your eye color!
Hun I honestly think color contacts would be a better way to go... less risks and you can just throw them out if you do not like the color! :) Talk to your local eye care professional about it !
Hope this helps a bit :)

EDIT**** I just read the last answer by Richard.... you cannot compare surgery for a cataract to a surgery for cosmetic purposes. Cataract surgery is essential!!! Surgery to change your eye color is not!!! BIG difference! All surgery is risky.... and is being vain to change your eye color worth that type of risk?????? I don’t know... but I think "Richard v" is just advertising for this procedure because all of the questions he has asked and answered are about "how satisfied he is with this procedure". Very suspicious!
